Game – Match that Smell
- Divide children into two teams. Have each team race over to a set of containers with a different smell in each one. After smelling their container, they have to try to find the person on the other team with the same smell.
- Scents – syrup, perfume, lemon, cherry, vinegar, anise, peppermint, etc.
Story Magnifier – Puzzle
- In our story, perfume usually was not used, but just displayed. Once a jar was broken it could not be put back together and all the perfume had to be used. Jesus forgives our sins and puts us back together.
- Put the puzzle together.
Art – Smelly Mosaic Shoe
- In our story, perfume was very expensive. Once a jar was broken, the perfume was used. A sinful woman, washed Jesus’ feet with the perfume.
- Trace your shoe on to a piece of paper. Tear or cut small pieces of paper and glue to cover the shoe. Spray with perfume.
